ISA CTEEP, affiliate of ISA in Brazil, won the “Valor 1000” award in the electric energy sector
This award highlights the results reached by the Company in 2018, when ISA CTEEP had a regulatory net income of R$1,3 billion and a growth of R$654 million compared with 2017
The yearbook is an initiative of the Brazilian journal Valor Econômico, which recognizes the best companies in the country in 25 sectors, based on criteria such as sustainable growth, net income, value creation, profitability, activity margin, liquidity, and active turnover. ISA CTEEP won the “Valor 1000” award in the electric energy sector.
“This award shows ISA CTEEP’s commitment to the country and to the development of the Brazilian electric sector. It also reaffirms our commitment to the management dedicated to provide Sustainable Value”, Carlos Ribeiro, ISA CTEEP’s Chief Technical Officer, said in the awards ceremony.
ISA CTEEP’s shares negotiated in the stock exchange increased 24% of their value and totaled R$75,74 per share TRPL4 as of December last year, the highest peak price ever paid up until now. The company also obtained the award as the best financing of the year in the infrastructure debentures market with the issuance of R$621 million of “Green Debentures”, the first issuance of the transmission sector included in this classification.
Fitch Ratings, the credit rating agency, reaffirmed the company’s credit rating with an investment grade of ‘AAA (bra)’ with a stable outlook.
