Medical missions of the ISA Group and the Universidad Nacional de Medellín reach remote areas of Colombia
Within the framework of the Todos Somos Uno program, XM and Transelca, affiliates of the ISA Group, granted COP 800 million to ISA/One Health Medical Missions. This is a comprehensive strategy for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 in remote, vulnerable areas of the country.
In addition, the Government of Antioquia and the National Institute of Health are part of this new initiative that validates the importance of company/university/State alliances.
As part of its commitment to respond to the COVID-19 crisis in Colombia, XM (operator of the National Interconnected System and administrator of the Wholesale Energy Market) and Transelca (energy transmission company), both affiliates of the ISA Group, granted COP 800 million to carry out medical missions in remote areas of the national territory. These missions include diagnostic sampling, treatment for vulnerable population, raising awareness to prevent the spread, and training medical staff on the several patient care protocols.
