ISA’s net income increased 27% as of the third quarter of 2019

As an indicator of the company’s strength and focus on profitability, the return on equity reached 14,2%.
Revenues totaled COP 5,9 trillion, 15,4% more than in 2018.
ISA’s incursion into the road business in Colombia stood out during the period
ISA’s financial results consolidated as of the third quarter, reflect right business decisions and discipline in the search for greater efficiency in operations and for sustainable value generation for shareholders and investors.

Accumulated as of September, net income was COP 1,2 trillion, which represented an increase of 27% compared with the same period of 2018; EBITDA increased 14,3% with a cumulative margin of 66,2%, and revenues totaled COP 5,9 trillion, 15,4 more than in 2018. These results are mainly explained by the energy projects that have started operations, by the greater returns of concessions, and by the good management of costs and expenses, among other factors.

“ISA keeps on consolidating itself as a profitable asset. The projections for this year are being complied with and we expect 2019 to be also a year of growth. The company will keep going towards the consolidation of its diversification strategy, seeking alternatives of new businesses that generate profit growth and working our way into the road business in Colombia, Peru, and Chile”, said, Bernardo Vargas Gibsone, ISA’s CEO.
